A shared digital space for a global community
My Congolese combines public content, community activity, events, business listings, and career opportunities in one platform. Public pages support discovery while signed-in areas provide the social experience.

Built from code to production, with ownership across web and mobile
I created My Congolese across the full development lifecycle: application code, frontend, backend, architecture, database design, and production deployment. I also handled the mobile app version. My web work includes public pages, authenticated features, and protected administration.

Public discovery and signed-in community features in one platform
The platform needs to make articles, events, businesses, and opportunities discoverable while supporting member activity and protected administration. The implementation separates public pages from authenticated product flows, with Supabase backing the data and Next.js connecting the web experience.

Features for connection, conversation, and participation
The platform includes feed posts, comments, reactions, friendships, groups, direct messages, notifications, stories, and reels.
Public articles, curated news, events, and shareable pages make community information easier to publish and discover.
Searchable business listings and job opportunities give organizations, professionals, and community members dedicated ways to find one another.

Application code, data workflows, and production deployment
I built the web application with Next.js and TypeScript, used Supabase for backend services, TanStack Query for client data workflows, and Zod for validation. I also handled deployment to Google Cloud Run, carrying the implementation through to a live platform.

Responsibility beyond the website
I also handled the mobile app version of My Congolese. This extended my responsibility beyond the responsive website to the platform's app experience.

Live and under active development
The web platform is live, with public content and discovery alongside member features. I continue working across the product's code, data, deployment, and ongoing development.
